Wow, it's hot in there! Looking through the back of the kiln. the temperature cones can just be seen behind the two test rings. (35kb) Like a glimpse of Hell, yet strangely beautiful. Wood burns white hot in the firebox. (30kb) A moment of high excitement, Douglas opens the kiln. (35kb) The old magic has worked again. The fire has transformed the pots into objects of beauty.
