Now that's what I call exterior architecture! Did people hate these when they were first introduced? Problably. The Pompidou Centre is all exposed infrastructure in a "look at me" form. Here we have something very similar, but completely different. These allow the interior space to be free of the clutter of supporting pillars. Oh dear, I'm starting to sound like Prince Charles.
